1992 Ford F-150

I have a 1992 Ford F 150 and the fuel gage does not work. I just replaced the sending unit I bought from a ford dealer ship and I also tried a whole new cluster package out of a parts truck and still does not work. I was wondering if you could give me any ideas?

You may have a grounded connection on the pumps harness connector or the wiring harness itself.
