Engine Performance problem
1991 Ford F150 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 113k miles

I had asked a previous question on this vehicle. It reves up high then drops low rpm then dies. You can keep it running at about 3000 rpm but just barely. I sent a small donation and you answered and thought it was the idle air valve. I replaced it but with no change in dthe motor. It still does the same. I'm 72 yrs old and live on SS so money is always very tight but I can make another donation of around 5.00. It isn't much I know but all I can do at this time. Thought you might have another suggestion but if this isn't worth fooling with I understand. Thank you, James Breeden.

Jim do you have a paper clip? I want you to access the on board computer and read the codes, this will require a piece of wire(paperclip) and your ignition key do this. Jump the singal pigtail and the top right hole on the triangular connecter with the wire, then turn on the key to "on" then Do this and count the flashes..., a 22 will flash as 2 flashes then a short pause, then 2 flashes, if more than one code is stored, the pause will be longer. The codes will display three times and end with 11 or 111. Write them down and post here. .
