Electrical problem
1989 Ford F150 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

i have a 1989 ford f150 and my fuel pumps were not shuting off so I wired a toggle into it and it was working fine and then I parked my car and went a little later to leave and it would not start so I tested the Inertia switch and the brown wire the had consent power when I first looked at it now doesnt and all I did was wired in a switch in between the pink wire and it worked and now it doesnt should I replace the relay or what eles could it be?
thanks

Where are you tapping your power from for the toggle switch? Did you check the ground circuit

No I took the pink wire off the Inertia switch and put a toggle in between it so I could shut off the fuel pumps

Remove the inertia switch and jumper the connector -did the fuel pump come on-if not test or replace the fuel pump relay and check the yellow wire at the starter relay-
