1985 Ford F150 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

We have duel gas tanks and fuel gauge dosn't work on either tank. In-tank sending units have been replace on both tanks, and that didn't fix it. What else would cause this problem?

Since both sending units are new I would really be leaning towards wiring issue or a bad cluster.

Try unhooking the harness, tank shoudl show full, then ground the signal out, tank shoudl show empty.

If not the wires or cluster is no good.
