I turned on the heater and it was making a funny ticking sound.I noticed if we put the temp knob that controls heat and a/c to a few notches before full blown heat the sound stops then after playing with the temp knob its now just blowing out cold air. However the rear heating its fine.I replaced both of the fuse for heating in the front and still didn't make the noise stop. Im wondering if it could be the blower relay that's no good.

Hello,

It sounds like you have a faulty blend door actuator.
The blend door actuator controls the mix of hot and cold air. When that actuator fails it can make clicking noise as it tries to move to the desired position but fails. It will typically get stuck all the hot or cold setting.

The blend door actuator is located behind the dash on the driver side (see diagram).
It is mounted to the HVAC box.

Here is a helpful article:

I have attached diagrams for your reference.

Please let me know of any questions.

Thank you.
