Electrical problem
2005 Ford Explorer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 120000 miles

Failsafe mode light on after not using the right key in ignition/is there anyway to overide without taking to dealer/i have the right key now?
Also on the same 2005 explorer/blend door for the heater is broken/anyway to replace without takingnthe whole dash out?

To reprogram keys on Fords you need two keys and they must be programmed as #1 and #2, do you have these? If yes let me know and I will post the method, if you have only one key, you are out of luck. Dealer will need to reprogram and sell you an extra key! Actuator is on top of the heater plenum so you need to at least see what you can remove to get at it, Havnt done one on your model, but some can be accessed through glove box removal. Some are at the left side and require substanstial dissassembly.
