2002 Ford Explorer Car wont accelerate

My car wont speed up and wont break like 50. When I have in in drive and are just sitting there it idles very jumpy almost like it will die but when it is in neutral it idles perfect. Could this be my transmission?

Hello,

Is your engine light on? If so will need to have codes pulled. Your local Auto Parts Store will do it, and usually for free. Post codes here.

When was your last tune up?

When was your like Fuel Filter change?
