19997 Ford Explorer headlights

1997 explorer with 160,000 miles went out at night had no low beam head lights. My nhigh beams worked and running lights but both low beams are out can someone help is this an easy inexpensive fix or should I look at other options.

I have had the same problem with my explorer. What I found out is under the center console there is a little box with circuit board in it. I removed mine and snapped open the box and found a couple of bad solder points bad. YTou can also take the part number and go to Ford adn get a replacement for about 60 dollars
