headlights won't go off

putting this out to all ford fans 1995 ford explorer, when turned off and keys are out. Battery hooked up headlights are on and high beam indicator is on on the dash. All fuses are good. does anyone know what I should check next? I am disconecting battery when not driving it is my only soultion at this point.

Replace multifunction switch.

I goofed. Replace the headlight switch. It's on the dash and secured with 2 screws.
