1997 Ford Explorer shakes real bad any time its moving

U can go any speed and it shakes real bad like it shakes the car so much it feels like it s going to fall apart. I took out the abs fuse and it stop and another thing it would stop after you drove it a couple miles down the road. But I think u need abs to get it inspected. Please help.

I'm not sure what state you are in, but in PA you don't need abs to pass inspection. As far as the vibration, did you only feel it when you used the brakes? As far as removing the fuse for the ABS, the brakes will still work fine, but you no longer have ABS.

Was the ABS light or check engine light on prior to removing the fuse?
