1996 Ford Explorer I hear and feel a knocking on passenger

I bought a 1996 explorer sport recently and just noticed a "knocking" on the passenger side of the engine. Could this be an engine mount?

When does the knocking occur, under what conditions?

At idle, acceleration, over bumps?

Intermittant in nature? Follows wheel rpm or follow engine rpm?

I happens if you have the hood open and are looking at the motor?
