My heater seams to be stuck on hot. I turn the knob to cool and I can hear a cable move but nothing happens. I tried to get to the sound behind the glove box but I can't figure out how to get where I need to be. I assume the cable has broken in some way. Ideas?

Thanks JR

Ok it sounds more like a door being opened and closed. A creeking sound right behind or the drivers side of the glove box. Bottom line is the temp is always on high heat no matter what I do with the temp knob.
