My truck was surging. Finally I got a code 157. Icheck the output of the maf and reads ok. The ouput of the tps reads negative value when measure from reference to gnd. Is suppose to reads positve value. Also I have to disconnect the maf in order to prevents and stop the surging at 2000 rpm. This leave me with check engine light on all the time. When I start to accelerate slowly its hesitates a little but at least is not surging anymore. Why is this?Help.

With MAF disconnected it wil never run right. The PCM has to know how much air is entering the engine. The TPS, if you swap the leads on the meter, it will probably read + instead of - on the output. This all sounds likea MAF problem, vacuum leak or low fuel pressure
