Is the MAF sensor on my explorer sending a voltage signal or a frequency to the PCM? Which one of the wires is sending the signal to the PCM. There are 6 wires, they are L-R

There are a few I will post, go by the shape of the connector, and the number of wires...

Thanks Merlin
The pics help me with identification of the wires. The first part of the question though, is the MAF sending a voltage or a frequency based signal back to the PCM?

I would say voltage, no testing that I know of instructs us to test for radio freqquencies! Testing always invloves volts, amps, or ohms.

Thanks again Merlin- I have read so many things trying to get an answer. In more than one instance I've read that some MAF sensors send a frequency back to the computer. I was searching about MAF sensors in general trying to find the info.
Thanks again Merlin.
