I can not get my Explorer to go into 4 wheel drive. The buttons do not light up and I can not tell if it is engaging or not. I have only had this vehicle for a week, and there is no owners manual. Could use some help locating a repair manual too.

Thanks.

I found this question elsewhere...Looks like it is a good start...But I'd still like to know if anyone can tell me where I can find a good, CHEAP repair manual...

Thanks for the donation.

E-bay would be one spot for a manual. I'm not familiar with that system so I can't be a lot of help.

Hanes makes a decent repair manual but they are vary vague on the electrical side of the 4x4 repair.
