Does it have steering wheel controls for the stereo and cruise? The temp may have been a coincidence, but there arent to many things that the stereo and cruise share as far as circuits go. You could try unplugging the cruise control unit under the hood and see if it stops blowing the fuse, if that doesnt do it, you may need to pull the stsreo out and unplug it to see if it is shorted
