JUST BROUGHT A FORD EXPEDITION REPLACED THE LEFT CYLINDER HEAD. WHEN TRIED TO START IT ENGINE WAS SEIZED AND BENT PUSH RODS, DESTROYED PISTONS ON LEFT CYLINDER HEAD. OIL IS REAL BLACK SO WHAT CAUSED THE ENGINE TO SEIZE.

Did you check to see if it was locked-up before you replaced the head? Was it the push rods (valves) that bent or the connecting rods (pistons) that bent? Did you change the oil before trying to restart? There may have been coolant in it and in the other head. Which pistons were damaged, the ones with the new head or the other side?

Let me know and I'll try to help you figure out why this happened.
