When we turn on either AC or MAX AC the rear vents work fine and are cold, but with the front vents we only get cool air when the fan is on the low setting. If we turn up the fan to any other speed it starts blowing hot air. Please help--we are sweating! :)

Check the blend door. It may not be opening the entire way.

To check it, you need to remove part of the dash. Because your vehicle has airbags, I am concerned that you may deploy one if you haven't done it before.

If you feel comfortable working around the air bags, let me know and I'll try to find an exploded view of the HVAC system so you know what you are looking for. After you locate it, all you need to do is change the system from heat to ac to see if it is working. THe problem is getting to it.

Let me know.
