I have a stuck seat belt in the back left seat of my 1998 4dr ford escort. How do I go about fixing it?
Thanks!

Open your trunk, remove the top left side gray lining cover which is behind the left back seat. To remove the lining, there are two black plastic fasteners. Pull the round center part first of the fastener. When the center part is sticking out, pull the whole black plastic fastener. Then you will see the seat belt mechanism. There are teeths above and below the mechanism. These teeths are being blocked by a C like flat metal (around1 inch by 2 inch size) The C flat metal is the one with a white plastic on the bottom of it. Just pull out the C like flat metal out of the teeth with your finger. This will loosen the seat belt.
