1997 Ford Escort Engine misfires/skips intermittently

I recently had a head gasket replaced and now car
intermittently misfires. The misfiring occurs for a few seconds and then engine runs alright. The check
engine light reflects a code of P304. Per Ford bulletin we cleaned exhaust valves but problem still
persists.

Misfire at cylinder # 4
you need to check spark plugs and wires and fuel injector
do a compression test
