Engine Performance problem
1994 Ford Escort 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Sometimes when starting car, it shutters and acts as if it might cut off (once or twice it did cut off). We had the spark plugs, oil and oil filter changed. Also, check the vacuum hose and carburetor for possible problems and found none. Is it possible the gas being used?

I would check the rest of the tune and fuel filter too
also check and clean idle air control
