1993 Ford Escort help !

I was going down the road and the car just died. The battery was dead so I thought the altonator was bad I replaced that and nothing again. The new one in the car will not charge the car. Could it be a relay causeing the altonator not to be chargeing the battery?

My question to you is
alternator with or without voltage regulator
if without
check and or replace regulator
check power supply to alternator
let me know

To add to what the other guy said you may have a bad battery
