Approx.96 on the odometer.

I was driving 65 mph on the freeway, the check engine light went on and a minute later the car stalled at freeway speed. Power out. We tried to jump start and no start. There is fuel in the tank.
Battery recharged. Secondary wiring OK. There's a spark, (using st 125) cranks but no start.

The comuter should tell you what to look for, if the light came on, it has stored a fault code, I suspect the fuel pump, if you have spark. Check for the fuel pump sound in the gas tank, if you have to have someone turn the key on while you remove the gas cap and listen for the pum. It will run for 4-5 seconds when the key is turned to On possition. If it does, check your compression!

Yea, my fuel pump is fine, I need an OBD II (alpha/numeric) tester which is going to cost me! I need to find a way to get the code without using the OBD2. My dad is a resourceful mechanic genius. I can't get intouch with him. I remember he used a paper clip to get the code from his Camaro and it worked! Crazy but it worked! I don't know how to do it that way. Is there a way you know how to get the code other than using the tester?
