The car motor turns over and catches for a brief moment then dies out. I tried to start until the battery died. What do you think it can be? It is probably not the batery, starter, or alternator. I have been told it is probably the fuel pump. Also can you tell me where the fuel pump is located?

I had the exact problems with mine. I have a 98 crown vic police interceptor and I was driving down a rough road and it triggered the fuel pump shut off switch that's located in the trunk. So I would recommend looking on the inside left of the trunk for a box with a red button on top. Make sure that button is pushed down. It's like a breaker in a way. If the button is up just push it down and the fuel pump will work again, only if that's the problem. The fuel pump could be broken also.
