Car is constantly overheating no leaks in system, flushed and refilled worked ok for several weeks and is back to doing the same thing. Also I get heat every once in awhile not good in 20 degree weather. Any ideas?

I am sorry to say it sounds like a head gasket. Check the oil for anti freeze and check the anti freeze for oil. If antifreeze is getting into oil it will look like a whitish milky liqued if oil is getting into coolant it will float on top of anti freeze. Good Luck :)
P.S. Usually accompanied by white smoke out of the exhaust (but not always)
