My Crown Vic has great cold AC but when I accelerate the air moves from the vents to the defrost then to the floor. When I level off on the gas it moves back to the vents. Sometime the air gose from cold to warm an back also. I'm thinkin this is a vacuum issue but im not sure. If so would it be under hood or under dash?

It is a vacuum leak, find the black vacuum line that enters the firewall from the engine compartment, check it back to the engine source, and to the vacuum reservoir, either the res, or the line has a leak.
