Just got the car. Have replaced a swelled, torn hose [the smaller of two going to the heater core. Also replaced the thermostat & thermostat gasket. It is still blowing cold air out the heater. Any ideas? I hope.

Safe to assume the colant is full?

Check the hoses going into and out of the heater core, ar they both fairly hot? May have a plugged heater core.

Check to see if the heater is air locked. If not disconnect the hoses going to the heater. Back flush
the heater core a few times. It might not get it all but it helps
