Power steering fluid is leaking out of the pump?

The power steering fluid is leaking out of the pump almost daily what can this mean what can I do to fix the problem I am a woman but I have fixed a lot of things on cars and vans and trucks I just need to know where to start.

Hello,

Replacing the power steering pump can be done by following few steps.
First you want to make sure the leak is from the pump and not from the hose that goes into the pump.

Drain fluid from pump reservoir, then disconnect pressure and return lines at pump.
Take off drive belt.
Remove power steering support brace.
Remove the pump.

You will need to use a special tool to take the pulley off of the pump. Which you can rent from your local auto parts store.
