Hello,

Here are a couple other possible causes.

Air Bubbles in engine causing hot spot and overheating. It is very hard to get them out. One way is to jack the vehicle up as high as you can safely do. Run vehicle with Radiator cap loose till gets to operating temp turn off after a few minutes when coolant starts to coming out, let cool for about 10 minutes and refill and repeat procceedure a couple times.

Next would be the Fan Clutch - it is mounted just behind the fan itself. You can check this very easily.
With vehicle cold turn fan by hand should spin fairly easy. Then start vehicle run till reaches operating temp. Turn vehicle off turn fan by hand be carefull will be hot. If spins same as when cold replace fan clutch. Also attempt to wiggle fan if has movement replace it.

Could also be the Radiator itself - run fing along fins if turn to dust replace radiator.
