1992 Ford Aerostar engine shuts off after idiling for about

I want to know why this is happening when I start my ford aerostar van and what I can do about it to fix my problem.

Well if u can keep it idling by pushing the gas but if u let go of the gas and it shuts off then it will most likely be the idle control valve. This unit keps the car at idle and when it gets bad it wont satay on for long.
