Feel jerking on gas pedal while accelerating

I would suspect you have what is called a shutter from the torque converter. That is when the clutches slip in the converter and are slipping and that's what you feel.
I would start by changing the oil/filter in the transmission and use an additive for this shutter. If that resolves it, then that is confirmation of the torque converter. It is not a permanent fix as the torque converter would need to be replaced.
