Before we get started I wanted say thanks for what you guys do for us and thanks for previous work help. I took off anti theft pigtail connector out from ignition to look at something in steering wheel and the anti theft plug switch broke and got new one and now my SUV wont turn over and anti theft light blinks every 5 seconds and saying engine temperature sensor and charge system. I tried everything; new battery and try reset anti theft system etc. Help

Just to be clear, your theft light is blinking once every 5 seconds and when you turn the key to the start/on position it doesn't do anything?

Try putting the key in the ignition and leave it sit in the on position for 30 minutes or the light turns off.

It sounds like you have an active theft system so we need to try and deactivate it.

If this does not work we are most likely going to need to have the OEM or compatible scan tool go through the process to deactivate it. I attached this process.

When you unplug that connector the vehicle thinks someone is trying to steal the vehicle so we need to tell the vehicle that it is not and it will reset.

Yes, just blinks when I put in key! My other ride is 2005 Lincoln and it blinks until I turn it on and stays red until turn over. So I will try that what you said. Thanks
