Engine shuts down when it is hot and humid out

The engine shuts down and will not restart after driving thirty to sixty minutes in hot humid weather. There are no error codes and it will restart after about thirty minutes and run again for thirty to sixty minutes. We have no issues in colder weather so I think the problem is in the body control module, but I cannot even find it to check it out.

Hello,

It sounds like you have a crankshaft angle sensor that has gone bad, here is a guide to show you what you are in for when changing the sensor out. When this sensor goes bad it may not set a code.
