I attempted to install underglow on my car and attach it to a fuse so I could control it from the cabin. This didn't work and it's now attached to the battery but while searching for a fuse we took many BCM fuses in and out.

Now, I am able to turn the key off and remove it and the engine continues running. On top of this, when the car is off there is a check engine light and when the car is on it tells me to service my airbag (even though they are fine). I assume its an electrical issue but I tested every BCM fuse and nothing was wrong with any of them. Currently, to turn the car off, I take out the fuel pump fuse.

From the description it could be that the BCM has multiple errors from the fuses being pulled at random. I would take a good scan tool, read the codes and write them down. Then try erasing them. Now start the car and see if it's okay or if it still has codes. If it does then it's possible that the BCM is damaged. I would also disconnect the lighting while testing as it's possible it could be causing an issue. If it is still showing codes do a full system scan and see which modules are not reporting or have errors and post those here and we will have a starting point.
