Driving the car started hearing a noise, I put the car in neutral parked it on the side turned the car of started again and the noise was still there. I turned it off again and now the car will not start and the crank does not turn by hand.

Crank not able to turn suggests internal engine part failure. But. Remove all the accessory drive belts first then see if the engine turns by hand. Also, push in the clutch while testing, just to rule out something like a seized alternator or failed transmission from being the problem. If it still will not turn then it is either a rebuild or replace scenario.

Could be connecting rod, crankshaft, piston, timing chain/belt, camshaft related. No way to know without opening the engine and investigating. That was why I suggested testing with the external items disconnected. That would make sure it is not something that is easily repaired like a bad power steering pump or A/C compressor bearing.
