My 1995 Chevy s10, 2.2 ltr engine idols extremely fast. While driving, it almost dies out. I lose speed and power. I have changed fuel pump, fuel filter, one fuel injector(because it cracked while checking connections). I can't see any vaccumm leaks. It's a 5 speed manual transmission. Truck was running decent until I changed fuel filter. Then fuel pump wasn't pumping proper pressure to keep truck running. I am puzzled. I even changed throttle position sensor. It still does the same thing. Anyone have any idea what can cause this? I need to repair as soon as possible.

Try cleaning throttle plate on both sides and iac hole with choke cleaner. Then check for vacuum leaks as well as holes in duct work

Scan for codes and check fuel pressure with a gauge then if a 4 cyl 41-47 psi auto parts rent it. If you replaced fuel filter make sure it is on correctly.

Fuel pump is new. So is fuel filter. Had old pump checked. It wasn't putting out proper pressure so I changed it. I don't have a scan tool. I been trying to figure what is causing this

Auto parts can scan most engine problems. However normally it's a vacuum line off/cracked etc or hole in duct work leading to engine or grommets on engine.

Parts places can not scan 1995. It is a year too old. Mine has a bd1 system. Parts places can not scan bd1 system. Only bd2 system in general motors. I will continue to look for vaccumm leaks. But haven't found anything yet

Also, check the idle air control motor on the throttle body. It controls idle speeds
