When my car sits for an hour it’s hard to start. I have to crank it three or four times. And then it blows white smoke from the exhaust.

First thing in the morning it starts just fine. After it set for three or four hours it starts just fine.

Good afternoon,

White smoke is an indication of burning coolant.

Has the car overheated at any point?

When it is hot, can you check the fuel pressure to be sure the pump is delivering the correct pressure?
