My car will drop from 2,000 RPMs down to 1.5 once I get up to a steady speed between 30 and 55 MPH then is will sputter and act like its choking itself or going into limp mode and just doesn't want to pick up any speed or accelerate or anything. I have put over $2,000.00 in this car between brakes, headlights, tires TPS, EGR valve, 2 gaskets for EGR and a thermostat plus regular maintenance. I could really use some help figuring out what actual part I need to buy to truly get it fixed.

Hello, I'm Danny.

Does your Check Engine light on when this sputtering happens? What we ask you to do is perform a CAN scan to retrieve all code information from your car. A CAN scan will test all the systems on your car including any issues you've just mentioned. Here is a tutorial showing what is involved for a CAN scan:

After performing this procedure get back to us with all stored code information and then we can properly diagnose these issues with your vehicle. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
