Hi,
The glove box needs to be removed to access the actuator. If you look at the information below, I have attached the directions for removing the glove box and actuator. Also, the first pic shows where the connector is for it. I added it to give you a better idea of where you will be working.
Once the glove box is removed, you should have access to the component. Note that it indicates to disable the SRS (airbags). If you decide to replace it yourself, disconnect the battery and allow the vehicle to sit for at least 20 minutes with the battery cable terminals ziptied together.
When the battery is disconnected, you will lose presets on the radio and the time on the clock.
