I recently bought the car listed above and just realized that there's no TCM. Where it is located? My transmission works fine after "resetting it" but after a while the AT light turns on. Need answers on what needs to be done.

Good morning,

Are there any codes set in the system for the transmission?

The transmission control module is part of the engine ECM. If it is replaced, then yes, it needs to be flashed.

What is the exact issue so I can help?

Good morning. I just bought the car earlier today. Car runs fine, shifts fine. But I was told that the car had a TCM problem. I thought the 2.0L had the TCM located under the battery because I also have a 2.3L and the TCM is located there.

I don't believe the transmission was every replaced on the car because the car was sitting. The car right now is running fine, no engine light illuminating.

Will keep you posted about the situation. Thank you for your response.
