2006 Dodge Stratus Car wont start

My engine light came on about a month ago I changed the spark plugs and everything was ok. Then a wk ago the engine light came on and the car would not start. It would crank but would not start. It eventually started but while driving would kind of putt when trying to accelerate. I can only drive at 40MPH and below without putting. NOw everytime I try to crank the car I have to press the gas for it to start. Engine light still on and putting while driving and will hardly accelerate. Thank you

Go to Autozone its a free public service and have the computer scanned for code/s-you have a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to turn on-This is your starting point of diagnosis, finding out what's going on
