The truck died on me while driving. It turns over but will not start. It died while driving in cold weather over the winter. Still will not start now (warmer weather). Could it be fuel or electrical related? I disconnected the battery and charged and put back on. I added fresh fuel. Does this truck have a fuel filter?

Try spraying a little and I mean just a short blast of starting fluid into the throttle body, does it fire? Rent a test gauge and ttest the fuel pump with key in on possition.I think the filter on yours is in the tank with the pump. If it does not fire with the starting fluid, check for spark. Do you smell any gas while cranking?

I tried the starting fluid (nothing). I can hear the fuel pump come on when I turn the key. I do not smell gas while cranking. What's the best way to check for spark?
