1997 Dodge Ram not fire to fuel pump

I cant get fire to my fuel pump truck just died and I changed fuel pump cause the mechanic said it was the pump now its not the pump cause cant get fire to it please reply thanks

Hello, I'd start with the basics. Are there any codes? You can check codes by cycling the ignition switch, three times, you just cycle the key til the dash lites comes on, on--off, on--off, on. The mil starts flashing, you count the flashes to get the codes.

Do you have spark at the plugs, with engine cranking? As far as the fuel pump, you can do some testing at the relay, with the key on, two terminals should be hot.
