Transmission problem
1985 Dodge Ram 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Hello: Well my 85 ram 50 trucks transmition wont stay in parking gear, and first and second don ´t work as well. I used to use it to haul cement and I recently lost the transmition control. Thank you will be waiting.

A shift cable may have broken if it has one, bu ttake it to a trans pro, you may have some serious problems there due to the weight you've been hauling.

There are no pictures available unless you get the correct manual. Best bet is to have a helper and look under and where the cable connects. If you have a console in this then you'll have to take the console out or at least apart to visibly check.
