My 2002 dodge neon does not have the get up and go like it used to. I have replaced the spark plugs and wires. Also I installed a cold air intake to get better air flow and it does run like I think it should. What could the problem be. I have heard that they have problems with head gaskets but I have no oil leaks.

Lot of things can cause a lack of power to engine. PCM and ground wiring to PCM could be bad, fuel pressure may be restricted, engine coolant temperature sensor, throttle position sensor, MAP sensor etc. Is the engine light on? For the head gasket, just because oil is not leaking doesn't mean anything, in fact usually the oil would increase due to coolant mixing into it.
