1998 Dodge Neon My Neon will not start

I have a 1998 neon and for the past month or so it was giving me problems starting. When I turned the key over it would make no sound at all then after turning it over two or three times it would start. Last night when I went to go out the car did the same thing excpt this time it would not start no matter what I did. I took the starter out and had that checked and it is good. I also got a new battery for it last week. Any ideas? Please help me I need my car ASAP. Thanks Kristine

Hello, did you try cranking in neutral? To test the starter circuit, I'd test at the starter relay, I didn't see a location for the starter relay? The relay may be located in the power distribution center under the hood, I'd check the voltage circuits.

Thanks I will try that. I aslo thought of changing out the nuetrual relay.

Just wanted to let veryone know that it was the starter after all. What I learned from all of this is that the part stores are not always right.
