2000 Dodge Intrepid Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Starts fine Rough idle in gear and acceleration, It Shakes off the line! Bad fuel? Injectors? Bad Distributor? Please, She thinks I did some thing to her car! HELP! Thanks! Thanks for the tip, GOT IT FIXED! I remembered my neighbor had the same problem with his dodge Pick up truck with a V-8, He replaced the plug wires and Problem Solved, So I did the same on the 2.4 / 4cyl. New Plug wires and She Smoothed rite out! $32 and 2 minutes later. FIXED! Thanks for your help! Steve

When was the last tune-up? Is the Check Engine light on?

There is no distributor, but one dead section of the coil pack is a possibility. It will kill two cylinders. Chrysler has extremely little trouble with injectors.

Now you know how mechanics feel when they get blamed for everything that happens after they touch a customer's car.
