1996 Dodge Intrepid overheat

Engine Cooling problem
1996 Dodge Intrepid Two Wheel Drive Automatic 87000 miles

Engine overheats when standing in traffic. Neither the radiator or A/C fan is operating though the compressor is engaging. Common point appears to be RFI module between fans.
appears to be plugged in properly. Any suggestions?

Have you replaced the thermostat if not do so, also check the coolant level.

Check the coolant temperature gauge switch and engine coolant temperature sensor-the computer takes their input signals to activate the fan thru the relays/RF module
