I just put on new brakes pads and bled the lines but my peddle is real spongy, no matter how many times I bleed them. When ignition is off they are firm but when I start it they go to the floor

No need for brake bleeding with pads change
but since u opened the hydraulic system
u need to get the air out
put brake paddle about 5 times and hold down helper open the bleeder let the air out
repeat until no air left in the line
check brake fluid often
