2000 4.7 quad cab has been in and out of dealership for 2 week. Starting running real rich (lots of black smoke). They replaced fuel pump, saying it was running lean, then falting out, then pumps lots of fuel to protect itself. As I pulled away from the dealership (one block) it started running rich again. This time they said it was an injector not working right. Had it replaced (by them). After that they ran it and said that the O2's have gone bad, and they again replaced them. I have drove it for 1 and half days, and every thing was fine till I was driving in town (mostly idle) and black smoke started pouring out again, drove out of town and got up to 55 and then the check light came on. Is there anything I can check? It has new plugs, o2 (befor and after), air filter, and everything listed above.

If you got an autozone near you, I would have them scan the code again, How about youre air temp sensor could be acting up.

Good Luck.
